An Oak Grove student recently won the 13th annual Butler County Community Resource Council spelling bee at Fox Radio Network, continuing a five-year winning streak for the elementary school.

Oak Grove Elementary School hosted its annual Famous Missourians Living Museum on Thursday, March 28 – the culmination of several weeks of preparation and the first major research project for the third graders.

Elementary students across the district enjoyed sampling fruit smoothies, many for the first time, but had to burn some calories beforehand in order to help mix the refreshment.
